One definition of the word covenant is 'an agreement among members of a church to defend and maintain its' doctrines, policies and faith'. That is exactly what the New Member Orientation class is designed to do. We will teach interested members about the five areas of covenant relationship. We will also cover our church doctrine so new members know exactly what we believe and why we believe it. At the end of the orientation, we expect all new members to be willing to plug into a specific ministry of the church that they feel gifted for. We are all a part of the Body of Christ, and each person has a role to play in this body, including you!

We encourage you to attend this New Member Orientation class if you are interested in joining a church that is going somewhere. The CGC leadership teams feels called to reach not only Forney, but all of Kaufman County and the entire east side of the Metroplex area with the love, forgiveness and power of Jesus Christ.
